Green Waste Recycling
Organic yard and garden waste accepted. Both large and small truck drop off available with onsite scale. $60/tonne or $10 minimum for level pickup truck load. No treated or dimensional lumber, rocks, sand, garbage or other debris.
Our soil developer is a combination of recycled green waste of Greater Victoria and dairy cattle manure. Heated and decomposed into a nutrient rich soil amendment, this material can be used to develop your soil, acting as a microbial rich inoculant.
A developed soil is the cornerstone of a healthy garden, and it's our goal to provide South Vancouver Island with premium cultured soil products at an affordable, wholesale price. We do this through our large scale, automated facility that features advanced technologies including:
Remote windrow temperature monitoring
In-floor aeration for eight, 60-meter windrows
Local soil lab analysis
Our system allows us divert large volumes of unnecessary waste from the landfill and integrate it as an essential component of our farm waste management program. We combine the organic waste of our farm with the green waste of Greater Victoria to create premium cultured soil products.

Production Process and Quality Control
Our soil developer is maintained at temperatures between 55°C - 70°C for six to eight weeks using remote thermometer probes in combination with in-floor aeration. During this period it is turned a minimum of 4 times and is cured for 20 days before being screened. We test our final product for both nutrients and heavy metals, holding our material to a Class A compost standard. These analyses are available upon request.
